It's come to this: No one is more willing to talk about acne than a musician.With celebrity acne-fighter Proactiv's signing earlier this month of Justin Beiber as a spokesman, the teen star joins Katty Perry, Arvil Lavign, Jessica Simpson, Alicia Keys and Mandy Moore as recording artists who have signed up to talk openly about "critters on their face," as Perry refers to it in her spot.


Proactiv has made it lucrative for them to talk, signing multimillion-dollar deals for the biggest names. Bieber will get $3 million for his two-year deal, similar to what Simpson was paid, according to a cosmetics industry source. Perry and Lavigne are paid almost as much."We did it because the kid uses it," says Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, who wouldn't confirm the $3 million price tag. "I never want to do anything with Justin's brand that isn't organic. He isn't manufactured."

Selena's Concert FALLEN DOWN.......

Selena Gomez stars in the Disney show "Wizards of Waverly Place" and the film "Ramona and Beezus," which is currently in theaters.

Selena Gomez has canceled appearances at state fairs in Delaware and Ohio because of strained vocal chords.

"I am extremely disappointed to cancel these shows," the Disney teen star said in a statement. "My fans mean the world to me and I was so excited to perform for them."

Delaware State Fair officials said the show could not be rescheduled before the end of the fair, and full refunds will be given to those who purchased their tickets directly from the Delaware State Fair. The Ohio show was rescheduled for November. Delaware fair officials said Allstar Weekend will perform in Gomez's place for free.

The 18-year-old is also readying her sophomore album with her band, The Scene. Tentatively titled "A Year Without Rain," the set is slated for a Sept. 28 release and will feature a song co-written and featuring background vocals from Katy Perry. "Round & Round," the album's lead single, is at No. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

U.K. Spoof of Jay-Z's 'Empire State of Mind' Becomes YouTube Hit..........

An online parody of Jay Z's hit that swaps New York's metropolis for a modest Welsh port town has won hundreds of thousands of fans, the director of the spoof said Wednesday.

The video "Newport (Ymerodraeth State of Mind)," a comic tribute to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys's 2009 single "Empire State of Mind," has been viewed more than 1.65 million times on You Tube and drawn praise for its witty lyrics. Ymerodraeth is the Welsh word for empire.

MJ Delaney, a 24-year-old filmmaker, shot a near frame-by-frame recreation of the original music video, but in the less glamorous surroundings of the south Wales city -- about 140 miles (220 kilometer) west of London.

She said the concept began as a private joke with her boyfriend and their comedian friend, but soon snowballed into a film project.

"We just started singing different place names instead of New York, just as a joke, and we thought that Newport was funny. I don't really know why I decided to go the whole hog and make a film of it, but it just seemed like fun," the director said.

"When you're in Newport. Chips, cheese, curry makes you feel brand new, washed down with a Special Brew," the lyric reads, referring to a local fast-food meal and Special Brew, a type of super-strength beer.

As you all know that Linkin Park is coming back to rock on 14th September by their all new rocking album 'A Thousand Suns'. The official track list of the album has been released. But now Linkin Park is trying to make their own space in the gaming world! Yes, it's true. Linkin Park is ready to launch their all new action game 'Medal Of Honor' directed by Joe Jahn who is the DJ Mixing artist of the band.

The preview will be offered one day before the single, "The Catalyst," is scheduled to hit radio and other outlets. Linkin Park's Joe Hahn also directed the video clip, which includes a mix of gameplay footage and live-action footage of actors playing as soldiers. The "Medal of Honor" game, meanwhile, hits shelves Oct. 12, from Electronic Arts. EA's worldwide executive of music and music marketing, Steve Schnur, says the partnership is the beginning of an expanded relationship between the game publisher and the band. Linkin Park's music has appeared in other EA games and the band earlier this year put out its own mobile game called 'Linkn Park 8-bit Rebellion'.
